Training Collars were Black Dog Wear's first ever product, they were designed for training without the harshness and pain of a chain choker. With the martingale loop limited correction it is a safe training collar for all dogs big and small.
Generally used more as a security collar because of the non-slip security of a martingale design - the design helps prevent dogs slipping out of their collar.
Careful consideration to design of the collar, components and choice of materials in relation to the size of dog, has enabled us to produce a highly effective Training Collar that is robust and looks great.
Not recommended as a collar to leave on your dog unless Walking, Training or close by. We recommend our ''Standard Collar Ranges''
Recommend use with a lead NOT longer than 3 metres at the most due to proximity to be able to train and correct your dog
The way we measure the collars also changed, now we measure the collar with the tightening loop fully extended, so it more clearly matches a neck size on a dog
*NB: The Heavy Duty Range has been replaced with the ''Limited Slip Collars"
Update 2021 - the black ID D-ring next to the buckle is being phased out of this style due to safety concerns when owners attached a lead to this ring instead of the metal ring on the martingale loop. - Can be added on request in Custom Make addition.

I bought two of these collars for my staffy cross dalmation and bull mastiff cross boxer, these are fantastic training collars gives good control of the dogs without choking them and pressure eases off as soon as the dogs stop pulling. Our walks are much more of a pleasure now and both dogs are walking well. I combined this with a balance harness and they work well together. I use a double ended leash .

Love these collars. We are having to replace ours now after 4 years of continual use! Had it since our boy was a baby and he has grown with it and worn it everywhere, thanks for a fabulous product.
